Failure to use stage to 'reach' fans
"I mostly assume that people are hard to please in this "overnight" or "instant" satisfaction society, so when people say they wanted more out of the concert I just blew it off as expecting too much. Two times she barely made it to the circle before she turned and went back to center, the other time she sang one entire song on the grand piano WITH HER BACK TO US the entire song. The beginning of the concert we were screaming and standing, on a total high of excitement for the show; however, as the show progressed, I found my row sitting down with frowns/anger. I purchased a total of 6 tickets for this show (including VIP backstage) with each set being in a different section. I read all reviews with a grain of salt. My daughter on the side in Sect 114 had a better experience with her cheaper ticket. Even the GA standing were looking irritated at her lack of walking to our end. I'm sure management could help her avoid disrespecting her highest paying fans by spending some more time with them. Dr. Seuss's The Cat In The Hat only came down to the end of the stage where we were seated 3 times. As a front row fan, not having her use the stage really rubbed us the wrong way. I purchased THE MOST expensive ticket you could buy, very front row. My ending experience would be summed up with "bleh"."
